BlueOcean Energy must meet rigorous siting, construction and operating standards before the
U.S. Coast Guard and other regulatory agencies will issue the necessary permits to build and
operate the LNG facility. The permitting process requires detailed engineering, environmental and
safety studies, economic and community impact assessments, and provides multiple opportunities
for public input.
Consultation began early in 2008 and will continue throughout the process. We expect to file our Deepwater Port Act license application in 2009.
